Hello everyone!
Chris P Tee here! You might know me from performing at parties, events, or perhaps you’ve seen me with Cheeky Chops or Mr. Punch.
For years, I’ve had the incredible joy of bringing laughter and wonder through comedy magic and traditional Punch & Judy shows. It’s truly the best job in the world!
But I’ve been thinking… how can I bring this unique kind of fun to even more people? How can I reach communities who might not have access to live shows like mine, or share the magic with a wider audience who love this kind of traditional entertainment?
Well, I’ve cooked up an idea that’s got me incredibly excited!
Introducing the Community Comedy Magic: Live & Streaming! Tour!
The concept is simple, but the dream is big: I want to pack up my props, get Cheeky Chops, Mr. Punch and friends ready for an adventure, and travel the country performing shows directly in communities – in village halls, parks, community centres, anywhere that brings people together!
The twist? Every single one of these shows will be streamed LIVE online!
Come along, take part on stage, show us your talent, and feel famous for the day.
Imagine this: a classic, hilarious Punch & Judy show or a baffling comedy magic set happening live in a small village hall, with a local audience roaring with laughter, AND at the same time, people from all over the world can tune in on TikTok and YouTube, commenting, interacting, and sharing the fun in real-time!
Why Do This?
For me, this project is about connection and accessibility.
- Bringing Joy Locally: Taking live, professional entertainment to the heart of communities, particularly those who might miss out on larger theatre shows.
- Highlighting Local Heros: Businesses and Organisations that help the community and putting them in the spotlight.
- Helping Local Talent Feel Famous: Meeting members of your community and encouraging to chase their dreams and follow their passions.
- Sharing Globally: Using the power of online streaming to share these traditional art forms and the simple joy of comedy and magic with anyone, anywhere.
- Making Magic Accessible: Offering shows that are free or very low-cost for the community, with the online streams always being free to watch.
- The Simple Love of Performing: I genuinely love making people laugh and gasp, and the idea of doing that in new places, sharing that energy both live and online, is incredibly motivating!
The Journey Ahead… And How You Can Be Part of It!
Making this dream a reality requires some planning and, yes, some resources! To travel the length and breadth of the UK, transporting props, the Punch & Judy booth, and having a place to stay means… well, it means I need a mobile base! My big goal is to acquire a camper van that can be both my transport and accommodation on the road.

Running a tour like this involves costs. I first need to find and somehow finance a suitable vehicle, campervan in which to live, sleep and travel – fuel, vehicle maintenance, equipment upkeep, and covering living expenses while on the road, especially when performing for free in communities.
